Credent Wealth Management, a financial planning firm operating under CX Institutional, headquartered in Auburn, Indiana is making room for their company growth. A groundbreaking event for their new 3-story building took place on February 11, 2021, at the construction site located at 200 East 7th Street in downtown Auburn, Indiana. The company’s founders through 3:16 Real Estate will invest more than $7.7 million to establish its new national headquarters in a 30,000-square-foot building. Credent Wealth Management plans to add up to 20 new jobs locally within the next two years.

According to David Hefty, CEO of Credent Wealth Management, “At the age of 23, starting an independent firm in midst of the tech bubble burst was challenging.  However, the people of Auburn and DeKalb County responded in mass to the offering of our independent financial advice.  Over the years, we were able to grow our business and our family right here in Auburn, Indiana.  Over the past 20 years, as our business was growing, we continued to stay very mission-focused: to guide clients throughout life’s most important financial events, with service and expertise above and beyond client expectations.  To deliver upon our mission, we involved many of our clients to help us fine-tune the process of how we deliver and communicate the importance of investing, financial planning, and estate planning.  These are individuals that live right here in Auburn, Indiana.  By 2012, we discovered that other independent firms across America wanted to learn more about our unique way of helping hard-working individuals achieve success on a more consistent basis.  We spent time documenting our process and making heavy investments into technology and key team members so that we could help more independent investment and planning firms.  We would be able to help more Americans achieve financial freedom, change their lives, and serve our mission well.  Today we serve hard-working Americans through our offices in Portage MI, Waco TX, Plano TX, and Auburn IN.  We have come together as a single team serving a single mission.  45 of the 65 team members work here in downtown Auburn, IN.  All clients across all our locations now benefit from the very same process that individuals in this community helped design.”

In 2003, David and Stacy Hefty founded Hefty Wealth Partners in Auburn, Indiana.  In 2018, Hefty Wealth Partners merged with other national locations to form CX Institutional, doing business as Credent Wealth Management.  Credent Wealth Management is currently headquartered a block west from the new building site.  Credent Wealth Management is a mission-based organization that operates from its 8 core beliefs; one of which includes, we believe all Americans benefit from setting financial goals, developing a written plan, and working with a partner toward those goals.  We are proud of our team approach that serves hard-working Americans that save more than they spend and value independent advice. This allows us to serve Americans with $5,000 to over $50 million on deposit with our firm.  Credent Wealth Management provides financial planning and advisory services on $1.3 billion of assets under management.  Their proven process of working with clients is the result of years of expertise. Credent Wealth Management provides each client with exceptional service and proactive, goals-based solutions. Meticulous attention to detail and high-touch service distinguishes Credent Wealth Management among firms offering financial management services.  Their mission is to guide clients throughout life’s most important financial events with service and expertise above and beyond client expectations.

“Auburn is a great place to raise a family and a great place to build a business with team members that possess midwestern values and work ethic.  Our team enjoys being a part of Downtown Auburn, whether eating, shopping, or using other services that are offered.  We know that our continued vision of guiding clients can be well served from our corporate location in Downtown Auburn and that our local clients will enjoy the upgrade in client experience with the new office.” says Stacy Hefty, President of Credent Wealth Management

As part of the new construction initiative, Credent Wealth Management would like to raise awareness for not-for-profits in the Northeast Indiana area who have seen a reduction in donations in the past year.  As part of their construction partnerships, David and Stacy Hefty have asked all service providers to donate to one of three chosen local charities.  The Hefty’s would like to personally thank the donors by placing their company logo on a sign at the building site. The three chosen charities are The Hearten House, The Women’s Care Center, and the DeKalb County 4-H Council. MKS will lead this initiative in collecting all donor information.
