Like many other businesses that are struggling right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our friends at the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne have had to close their doors to the families that they serve and to most of their employees as well.  This has caused a huge set-back for many families in our Fort Wayne community. The Club serves approximately 700 families daily. Most of the member families generally work in highly vulnerable job positions that create financial and emotional strains, intensified by these uncertain times. Some have little or no work history that might qualify them for other programs being offered like the recent stimulus package. They are vulnerable and the club has set up a special Family Relief Fund to help fill that gap.

This fund has been established to assist the Boys and Girls Club families and staff with support to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Food assistance
  • Rent & utilities
  • Health benefits
  • Medical care
  • Household & cleaning supplies
  • Hygiene products
  • Hands on academic projects and programs
  • Transportation
  • Childcare
  • Other unplanned hardships and unforeseen basic needs

The Club’s goal is to raise $200,000 to meet the needs of the families and staff, as well as creating a sustainable fund for residual needs.

Because we hold a close partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne, we want to help spread the word about their Family Relief Fund. This incredible nonprofit that aids in the growth of the Fort Wayne youth needs our help.
