The Academic Center, also known as the "crown jewel" by Indiana Tech, is located in the center of the Fort Wayne campus. In order to live up to its name, the Academic Center had to be designed with a variety of different features to meet the needs of a growing campus. The center three-story rotunda area is the main focal point of the interior of the building. It features a suspended sculpture, detailed sloping and curved ceiling feature. The building also features a large multi-flex room that has been acoustically engineered, and is fully integrated with movie-quality projectors and speakers that allow for a variety of different presentations and performances.

"We love working with Michael Kinder & Sons. They have become part of our family at Indiana Tech. The Kinders themselves are involved from start to finish in every job they do, going out of their way to make sure we're getting first class quality. We have worked with numerous competitors over the years and definitely see a difference working with MKS!"
