This incredible educational facility redefines what “school” is. The Career Academy has created supplementary opportunities for students within the surrounding communities by providing a hands-on, career-focused learning environment. With the partnership and generous donations from the 80/20 Foundation Trust and the Whitley County Community Foundation, the Whitko Career Academy (WCA) enhanced their educational reach to help pave the way for the futures of manufacturing, technology, and education for young adults in the area. With the newly added adaptive and interactive learning environments, the students at WCA have the ability to prepare for their future careers in everything from engineering and welding, to nursing and marketing. The design of the WCA truly focuses on the educational opportunities available, encouraging collaboration and eliminating barriers for student involvement.
