April 20, 2023 - MKS had the honor of attending the 2023 BCA Awards Night, and we are thrilled to announce that we received two awards.

For the under $1 million construction category, MKS received the Excellence in Construction award for the Manchester University Bell Tower. The tower is a unique project, serving as a historical landmark on Manchester University's campus.

Working alongside Design Collaborative, ERI, and The Verdin Company, the new tower was dedicated more than 100 years after the original ten bells were cast and dedicated in 1922.

The BCA was also proud to recognize Tony Garwood with the 2023 Supervisor Safety Award, which is given to supervisors committed to promoting job safety.

Tony Garwood embodies safety and enforces it on every project that he touches. One project that Tony manages includes constructing a 300,000-square-foot industrial manufacturing building and four other buildings comprising the entire facility. This project has had zero accidents, zero OSHA recordables, and zero lost days.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work on these meaningful projects and to be recognized for our commitment to excellence and safety. We look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the highest professionalism and expertise.
